Another Long Weekend....Buckle up!

For this weekend, You will need to complete the following:

1.  French Revolution essay!  Due Monday when you walk into class.  No excuses!

2.  Read Robespierre's On the Principles of Political Morality, & Justification of the Use of Terror and answer the questions at the bottom of this email in your notes!

3.  Use the link provided here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeQ7ig_SCB8  and finish watching the French Revolution History Channel Documentary.  This is for your benefit! 


Robespierre Questions:

1. What does Robespierre believe should be the ideal relationship between the people and the government?

 2. What does Robespierre believe is the ultimate goal, or the desired outcome, of the Revolution?

 3. Why is this speech so moving and motivational to his audience? What specific parts of it truly capture the audience's attention and give Robespierre the title of being a gifted orator?

4. What message does Robespierre send in regards to how terror, virtue, government, and revolution connect to each other?
